Doug's Favorite Cheesecake

1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or lime Jello
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 (8 oz.) or 3 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 can Milnot
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup butter or margarine, melted

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Chill until slightly thickened. Cream together the sugar, cream cheese and vanilla. Add gelatin and lemon juice and blend well. Whip Milnot with electric mixer until stiff. Fold into cheese mixture. For crust, mix crumbs with melted butter. Pack 2/3 of mixture into bottom of a 9" x 13" x 2" pan, or larger, and bake at 375º for 8 minutes. Add filling and sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Chill several hours. Cut into squares and serve plain or garnish with fruit. Makes 12-16 servings.
